Linens
Home linen at KlippiK Kuwait, from Them and Yellow Dwelling. Bedsheets, dohars, pillow covers, cushion covers and throws, almost all cotton.
Why cotton, specifically, here
In a climate where rooms are air conditioned for most of the year and humidity outdoors is high, cotton does the two things synthetics do not: it moves moisture away from the skin, and it washes and dries fast enough to keep a spare set in rotation. Polyester blends hold heat and hold odour.
What is in the range
- Bedsheet sets — flat sheets, with matching pillow covers sold separately.
- Dohars — light quilted cotton throws, the right weight for an air-conditioned bedroom.
- Pillow covers — the washable outer layer for your pillows.
Care that actually matters
Two things do most of the damage to cotton bedding in Kuwait: drying it in full sun, which fades dyes fast, and washing hot, which shortens fibre life. Wash at 30–40 °C, dry in shade, and cotton will soften rather than wear out for years.

Common questions
How often should bedsheets be washed?
Weekly is the usual advice, and in a hot climate it is closer to a requirement than a suggestion. Keeping two sets in rotation makes it practical.
What thread count should I look for?
Beyond roughly 400, thread count stops telling you much — weave and fibre quality matter more. A well-made 200–300 count cotton percale will outlast and out-breathe a cheap 1000-count sheet.
