The case size in millimetres is printed there along with the model number, which begins with the letter A. Milanese mesh adjusts magnetically to any length; link bracelets need links removed to fit. Most adult wrists measure between 140mm and 210mm. Adjustable nylon and buckle bands cover that entire range; stretch bands do not, so check the size guide on the product page before ordering one.<\/p>\n<p>For heart-rate and blood-oxygen readings to be reliable, the watch needs to sit snug and roughly a finger&#8217;s width above the wrist bone \u2014 loose enough that you can slide a fingertip underneath, tight enough that it does not slide down your arm when you move. There is one for each half of the band.<\/li>\n<li>Slide the band out sideways, in the direction of the case edge. It should move with light pressure.<\/li>\n<li>Slide the new band in from the same side until you feel it click into place.<\/li>\n<li>Tug it gently. A correctly seated band will not move.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>No tools are needed and the whole thing takes about ten seconds per half. If a band will not slide in, do not force it \u2014 in almost every case the band is the wrong group for the watch, not defective. Never put it in a washing machine or a dryer, and never fit it damp.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Silicone<\/strong> \u2014 rinse under a tap after any workout and dry with a cloth. It cleans up completely; nothing needs to be scrubbed.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Leather and vegan leather<\/strong> \u2014 wipe with a dry or barely damp cloth. Do not soak, and do not use alcohol wipes, which strip the finish.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Metal<\/strong> \u2014 a soft brush along the links removes the grit that causes squeaking. Dry it fully; trapped water between links marks the finish over time.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Whatever the material, take the band off the watch every few weeks and wipe the underside of the case. It works into hook-and-loop closures and gradually stops them gripping, and it collects in the lug channel.
